About Dr. Michelle
Dr. Michelle Woolhouse is a highly regarded Australian integrative medical practitioner with over 25 years of experience, specializing in women's health, mental health issues—including anxiety, stress, and burnout—and the neurobiology of healing. She adopts a holistic approach, addressing nutritional and lifestyle factors, as well as the mental, emotional, and social influences on health.
Dr. Woolhouse holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She has pursued additional postgraduate training in mind-body medicine, meditation, nutritional and environmental medicine, and holds additional fellowships with the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM) and the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (FACNEM).
As the Founding Medical Director of Vively, Dr. Woolhouse leads an innovative online platform that empowers individuals to take control of their metabolic health through a holistic medical program including continuous glucose monitoring and other wearable technologies. She is also the co-founder of Enliven Retreats, offering programs focused on holistic wellness, emotional regulation and psychological transformation.
Dr. Woolhouse is also an author of the book, "The Wonder Within: A Heart-Led Playbook for the Anxious, Stressed, and Burnt-Out," which provides readers with tools to navigate stress and anxiety. She is also an award-winning podcast host and holds the National Institute of Integrative Medicine lifetime achievement award. Dr. Woolhouse is a sought-after keynote speaker, sharing her expertise on topics such as women's hormones, stress, burnout, and the neuroscience of well-being.
